SDPYC SuratShree Dhandhar Panchal Yuva Committee (Surat)

Privacy policy

This policy is for the SDPYC Surat website — Shree Dhandhar Panchal Yuva Committee (Surat) — and its community cricket records for the Surat Dhandhar Panchal Cup. It is written in plain language. If you have a question about it, contact the site team through the info email in the footer of this site.

What we collect

Only what the site needs to run a community cricket season:

We do not collect your location, your contacts, or data from other apps on your device. The site has no advertising software and we do not sell your data to advertisers.

What is public, and what is admin-only

Public: approved player names, cricket roles and styles, city, career and season statistics, teams, seasons, fixtures, results, and scorecards. Anyone can read those without signing in.

Admin-only, never public: your email address and your phone number. Only the site admins (super admin and manager) can see those, and only to run enrolments, teams, and tournaments. Public pages never show them, and no public search on this site can reveal them.

Friends-only: messages on the site go only between accepted friends, not to the public.

Where your data lives

This website is hosted by Vercel and its database and sign-in service are provided by Supabase. Your data is stored in that hosted database. No other company processes your enrolment or sign-in data for us, and no advertising company receives it.

Cookies and device storage

The site uses only what it needs to work:

There are no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking for ads.

Children and young players

This is a community sports site, and the enrolment form asks for age as plain text — it does not verify anyone's age, and this policy does not claim a minimum age for signing up. If you are a parent or guardian and you want a young player's enrolment removed, use the account-deletion page below while signed in as that account, or contact the site admins through the info email in the footer.

How long we keep data

Your account, enrolment, and statistics stay on the site until you delete your account or an admin removes them. Season, team, and match records are community history: they stay even if one player leaves, because they belong to the tournament, not to one person — see the next section for exactly what deletion does and does not remove.

Deleting your account

You can delete your own account at any time from the Account page. Deletion removes your sign-in account, your player enrolment and profile, your season and match statistics rows, your friendships and messages, your team-owner link (if any), your push subscriptions, and your uploaded photos. It does not delete seasons, teams, fixtures, or match records themselves, and it does not rewrite names already written as plain text inside historical scorecards — those are community records, not linked to your account. Trial registrations carry only a name, role, and note with no account link, so they are not automatically removed by account deletion; ask an admin to remove one by name if you need that.

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. After deletion you are signed out, and signing in again with the same email would create a fresh account with no history.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect or who can see it, the new version will be posted on this page. The version on this page is the one that applies.
